Ancai PV New Material Energy Storage Power Station project has a construction capacity of 17.2MWh and is connected to the power grid through the 110kV Xicai substation. Ancai PV New Material Energy Storage Power Station not only participates in the "peak shaving" and "demand management" of the enterprise's power supply to reduce the electricity consumption cost of the enterprise, but also realizes the power auxiliary service and demand side response service in the area of the energy storage power station, providing support for energy generation, consumption and stable operation to the power grid.
The project selected the energy storage system independently developed by Zhuhai Kotron Energy Storage Technology Co.,Ltd. for the entire industry chain (280Ah long-lasting battery for energy storage, intelligent high-voltage group series PCS, active balancing technology, and fire fighting system for energy storage with independent intellectual property rights, etc.). The energy storage power station has the superior performance of safety (the only one that has passed the fire detection and certification of the energy storage system of China Electric Power Research Institute), long-lasting (the cycle life of a single cell is more than 10,000 times, and the system is capable to operate for more than 15 years with 2 charges and 2 discharges per day), large capacity, and high reliability.
