Zhuhai Kotron introducing an intelligent flexible super power supply——Station Area Intelligent Flexible Power Supply. It is capable to enhance the ability of the grid to accept renewable energy, improve the reliability of the grid operation, the peak-shaving and frequency-regulating capabilities as well as effectively refine low-voltage and three-phase imbalances.

The system uses high-power-density LFP cells as energy storage elements, and is composed of energy storage-specific cells, energy-storage-specific PACK, battery management systems (BMS), energy storage power conversion system (PCS) and other subsystems. Considering actual application scenarios and demands, two specifications of 120kW/225kWh and 240kW/450kWh are currently available, parallel expansion of multiple systems is supported.

According to different application scenarios, two access modes, parallel and serial, are supported. Parallel connection to the distribution network can realize dynamic capacity expansion of distribution transformers, solve three-phase imbalance, and realize reactive power compensation, which is suitable for distribution stations and other occasions. Series connection to the power grid can realize millisecond-level emergency power protection, power quality management, suitable for important occasions such as important conferences and large-scale competitions.
